WHAT WE ARE
Maintenance Jobs Board is a niche job listing site that curates and displays maintenance technician positions paying $40 or more per hour. Job listings are sourced from third-party publisher feeds (such as Jooble). When you click "Apply Now," you are redirected to the employer's application portal or the publisher's platform.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you browse
Our server logs standard web request data: IP address, browser user-agent, pages visited, referrer URL, and timestamps. We use this to detect bot traffic, prevent duplicate click fraud, and maintain the quality scores that publishers use to pay us. This data is retained for at least 30 days.
When you click Apply
We record a click event server-side before redirecting you to the employer. This event includes your IP address, user-agent, timestamp, and the job you clicked. A fingerprint hash (not your raw IP) is used to deduplicate clicks within a 24-hour window. We do not track you on the employer's site — that is governed by their privacy policy.
When you sign up for email alerts
We collect your email address and any optional preferences you provide (state, job category). We also log your IP at signup time to help us comply with anti-spam regulations.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- To deliver weekly job alert emails you signed up for
- To detect and filter bot traffic so our publisher partners pay us accurately
- To deduplicate clicks (same person, same job, within 24h = counted once)
- To analyze which listings attract the most interest and improve the board
- To report aggregated, non-identifying traffic data to publisher partners
We do not sell your personal information. We do not run behavioral advertising. We do not share your email address with employers or third parties.
COOKIES AND TRACKING
This site does not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics pixels, or cross-site tracking cookies. We may set a session cookie to identify your browser session for click deduplication purposes. This cookie is not used for advertising and is not shared with third parties.
Job listings link to external employer sites. Those sites may set their own cookies and have their own tracking — we have no control over that.
EMAIL ALERTS
If you signed up for job alerts, you'll receive a weekly digest of the top $40+/hr maintenance jobs. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it immediately removes you from future sends. We do not add you back without your explicit action.
DATA RETENTION
Click events and IP addresses are retained for a minimum of 30 days as required by publisher agreements for fraud verification. Email subscriber records are kept until you unsubscribe. You can request deletion of your email record by emailing us (see contact below).
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the EU or UK, you may also have the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
CHILDREN
This site is intended for adults seeking employment. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy as the site grows. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
